Delivery Checklist: Before ordering, please check and provide us with the following information to ensure your product is delivered successfully: Please provide a landline or mobile phone number to enable us to arrange your delivery and provide you with a timeslot;
Check the dimensions of the product you plan to purchase will fit in the space/unit where you intend to place it; If you are ordering a large kitchen appliance check your product will fit through internal and external doorways; Make sure you advise us in advance of any access issues for the delivery vehicle such as restricted parking etc. On the delivery day, please ensure that: There is a clear access route through your home to where you want the product sited; Your floors are covered to prevent scuffing and any delicate objects are put in a safe place; You check your new appliance is the correct model and colour; You check your new appliance for any damage and that all accessories are included; Please ensure that you read the manufacturers installation and instruction book before you use your new product.
SMALL ITEMS: (normal cooker hoods, hobs etc) will be despatched on an all day courier service, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. You can expect Free Delivery throughout UK Mainland in 2-3 working days after delivery. For Next Day Delivery, please contact us first.
LARGE ITEMS: PLEASE PROVIDE 2 PHONE NUMBERS. Large items like Range Cooker, washing machines and ovens are delivered with a variety of different courier companies. You goods will either be sent with a delivery company or a pallet delivery service. We indiscriminately switch between delivery methods to cope with demand and meet delivery times.
Pallet deliveries are generally quick (2 working days in England & Wales) but the items are delivered on a Pallet to your doorstep and you will not necessarily get a time slot but you can specify which working day you need delivery when the company calls to book in.
With the standard delivery service, you get a time slot the day before delivery and most items on this delivery method will be brought into a ground floor home providing there is adequate access as it is a one man delivery service. Extra large items will be Kurbside, unless you wish to upgrade to a 2 man service for £30 (this doesn't apply for items that need to be dismantled to fit through the door). We visit certain post-codes on certain days, so if you need a specific delivery day, or want to hold off delivery, please call us on 0161 248771 or send us a message. You can also request a £9.99 collection service for your old appliances where items are left outside ready for the driver to take away.
As per distance selling regulations, damages need to be reported within a reasonable time frame - please thoroughly check all appliances for damage within 48 hours of receipt. After this we will not be able to make a claim with the delivery company or manufacturer. Please do not order if you cannot check the items within 48 hours but feel free to ask us to hold off delivery as we can keep your purchased appliances in our warehouse, ready for when you need them. On some occasions our driver will upwrap the product for you to inspect prior to signing the delivery note. Please ensure you check this carefully before signing as a signature indicates you are happy with the item
On the rare occasion that you notice damage at the time of delivery, you may wish to refuse the item. If you subsequently become aware of the damage after delivery please contact us within 48 hours IN WRITING/EMAIL. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence of the product(s) and/or packaging and sending this to us immediately will help us to deal with any problems quickly.
Under no circumstances should you install your appliance if you notice damage. By installing an item you are accepting the product and cannot claim for damage after installation. Installing a damaged item can void your warranty and can also be dangerous.
All of our appliances are guaranteed, please check the item details for the guarantee duration. If any faults arise after installation, please contact our customer service team who will be pleased to help. The guarantee will not apply however if the fault arises from misuse or excessive wear and tear. If your product appears not to be functioning correctly please first check the manufacturer’s instruction book and follow the fault-finding guide. If a product has been installed the manufacturer will need to send a service engineer to inspect the appliance to establish the nature of the fault. Please remember if a product is found to be installed incorrectly the manufacturer reserves the right to charge for the engineer visit.
We cannot replace or refund a faulty item without the engineers visit and only then if the engineer deems the item to be unrepairable, regardless of when it was delivered.
When installing a gas appliance a qualified Gas Safe engineer is required, all appliances will need to be installed by a qualified tradesperson, who will have the correct certification. If your appliance isn't installed by a qualified tradesman the manufacturer will likely void the warranty.
